Research Projects
To get the best outcome for constituents, I run research projects on the most important local issues. These projects allow me to collect public opinion and apply greater pressure on your behalf. If my team are made aware of a significant problem faced by a number of constituents, we design a survey to allow people to express their views and find solutions.
I have used this research format to collect residents’ views on a number of issues including:
The condition of Stockport Station, which I then raised with the Government during an Adjournment Debate in the House of Commons.
The performance of Royal Mail - I then raised the concerns shared directly with Royal Mail’s CEO and the Department for Business and Trade.
The future of the Reddish Baths site, which I then raised with the Government during my Westminster Hall debate on regeneration in Reddish.
My aim with these surveys is to give constituents greater ownership over the problems they face. Individual reports are available for download below.
